If you remember back to my most recent blog I left some my 'followers' very suspicious.....
Or maybe you didn't notice my sudtle suggestive ways in this blog. ----> (I have a lot of ideas of how next year will be. I think people will be up for a surprise. Giggity giggity)
Well....
(My beautiful ring. Day after proposal. We went to the waterfall shown below.... we carved our names inside of a heart with the date of carvage (3-20-2010.)

(March 19 2010. 11:54 pm, Right after he proposed. March 19th happens to be Mike's dad's birthday, but is special to us for it is the four year 'anniversary' day of us beginning dating the f i r s t time in 2005, I was 15 and he was 18.)

YUP!!! Those who thought that I was being proposed to you were R I G H T!
As of this summer I will be: Mrs. Kelsey Rose Grove Heinz.
I am so so so so so so incredibly happy and ecstatic to spend the rest of my life as Mike's wife. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is the right decision.
My sister suggested that I write down every detail of the proposal and my entire "Engagement Weekend" I think this is an awesome idea because I have a terrible memory. After things settle down a bit and Mike goes back downstate I am going to sit down and do this, and will likely share the story =)
And yes I do realize that I AM wearing the wedding band as well as the wedding ring, its because I like the ring better with the band with it... and heck I do my own thing! So the day before the wedding.... Mike can have the band back =P
And Natalie this means we will be cousins-in-law =O Who woulda' thought 3 or 4 years ago that we would be eventually related! =)
I am posting this blog before I change my relationship status via FaceBook, which probably makes you guys feel very special, I can only imagine. lol.

I'm SO HAPPY! I can't believe it's already going to be this summer. Let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help. Like I said, I've been through quite a few people getting married lately :)

:) So happy for you Kels! That is a Beautiful ring!!!! SOOOOOOO gorgeous! Oh and I don't know when you plan on children ;) but I highly suggest waiting to get your rings re sized until AFTER you're first baby because I had mine re sized before hand...and then got pregnant on my honeymoon... and lets just say that I wish they would fit me now, because being young, and looking like I am not married, and being VERY pregnant, I hate the looks I get... I had a lady at the hospital tell me "Oh it looks like here we have your status as married...I don't know why, let me fix that." and I had to speak up and tell her I AM married and I can't wear my rings anymore due to swelling! :( Stinks! lol.

btw...it's awesome to have a new last name (except my mom and sister can never remember it changed and there have been numerous occasions where they will sign my old last name! lol)and it seems like I have been Kyra Schultz for forever :)

ReplyDeleteimagine, when I first met you, you were evil to me (I was new!!!!) and we didn't like each other. Then you grow on me, and I leave Michigan and you grown on me even MORE, and now you'll be in the family forever. Which is fucking sweet. our kids will be second cousins! and be related by blood! lol
i can't wait to hear the engagement story. so fucking crazy you'll be a HEINZ now!
