Let's Catch Up.

My usually leisure schedule of 12 credit hours has surprisingly kept me busy lately.  I’ve been typing papers, doing homework, “reports”, avoiding reading 63 pages for a test the next day… and all that end of the year school stuff that profs toss in.  When I am not doing school stuff, which is 85% of the day, you can usually find me propped up in my bed—with the TV on.  If you know me well you would know that I have never been much of a TV person.  I haven’t had cable since I was 14, so unless our rabbit ears picked it up, or if I was at someone else’s house, I wasn’t watchin’ the boob-tube.  My roommate and I, I swear must have the TV on for at least 7 hours a day.

There is so much to watch:

*Addicted

*Soberhouse

*True Life (featuring: I hate my face, I am polyamorous, I want a sex change, I have schizophrenia… how does that not sound interesting?)

*WifeSwap (every weekday at noon)

*Ghost Adventures (We love this one.)

*Who’s Line Is It Anyways

*Punk’d

*Hoarders

*To Catch A Predator

*Cops

*Americas Most Wanted

*1,000 Ways to Die

*Oprah, occasionally

*16 and Pregnant

*My Fair Brady

*……..  I think you get the point.  It’s absolutely ridiculous how much TV we have watched this semester.  We crack up everytime we realize the same episode of some show is on for the 12th time, and how absurd it is that we know that it’s clearly a repeat.  I know when I go back home I wont have the TV on nearly as much, but I will definitely remember this as the TV semester.  Oh and FYI freshman year we maybe had our TV on a max of two hours a week—Desperate Housewives and The Real World =)

Alright, so that obviously takes up a lot of my time.  I have s l o w l y been working on my bows.  Did 4 or 5 the other day, and probably have 40 or 50 done already.  Speaking of arts and crafts, I bought my garter last week at Michael’s Crafts.  I bought a white one and then bought some Rit dye and dyed it green, since green is one of the three wedding colors.

It looks so good:

(Your husband is suppose to shimmy up your dress and fetch that thing off with his teeth right? Or maybe its his hands... either way I hope that doesn't disturb my grandparents.)

I also dyed some random shirts and a sweatshirt that was turning an off-white gross color. Can you believe that zipup use to be white?? Dyeing clothes is so much fun and you can saying to your friends "I think I'm going to dye tonight" hahahaha =P :

There is officially only 9 days until I am home, I am very very very excited!  To top that off, my sister Katie/maid of honor is flying in from the state of WA the next day (May 1st) to help with wedding planning and just hang out.  I guess I am having a wedding shower and bachelorette party, even though I personally can go without either.  I have an awesome sister, I am truly blessed.  OH, AND I get to meet Kyra's precious baby boy Bryan Jr! I am sooooo pumped about that. He is so adorable and I love him already.

I’m all hired for this summer, completely booked actually.  As soon as I am home I am babysitting Jack a few days a week for a month or so.  On my off days and after leaving Jack’s I am watching Mike’s cousin Lillian.  Come June I am going to Ohio and babysitting my 4 cousins, and Lillian on off days.  All this, along with planning a wedding and “being in one on July 17th!”

When it comes to finding a house…. Wowza.  I swear whoever said people aren’t buying houses, are wrong.  Every house that we find online, Mike goes and sees and tells me how awesome it is and I get all excited.  Then he decides to put in an offer, only to find the house has had an accepted offer since December and the 12 websites with the listing are still up only to fool people like us!  I no longer allow myself to get too excited because I keep getting let down.  I trust God and know that He will guide us to the house of our dreams, that is perfect for us.  With that said, we just found one yesterday that was put on the market YESTERDAY.  So, hopefully nobody nabs it before we can put an offer in on it.  If everything works I will keep you all informed and then show you pictures/descriptions. Plus, with me coming home in 9 days I will get to actually tour houses and not just hear about the house or have to do the next best thing of watching videos Mike [graciously] records for me.

(To anyone from NMU reading this: If you need a filler class. I seriously recommend taking Intro to Business with Charlie Wolfe.  I don’t think he is teaching the class next semester, but just keep his name in the back of your mind if you are ever looking to have an absolutely awesome professor.  This man seriously changes lives, you can’t understand until you have his class.  I am leaving Intro to Business with so much real life knowledge and advice that I WILL use. )

I am selling my car.  1998 Pontiac Sunfire convertible. Brand new tires, works awesome.  $2,400.
I want to buy a Sunfire with a hardtop, even though I LOVE riding with the top down... I want something more practical for me.  If you're interested you know the drill.

Oh by the way, it snowed again this morning.

  2. Thanks for the catsup- catch up... get it? Yea... sorry.
And you seriously need a shower (the wedding kind) and a bachelorette party! You're only getting married once! I know I know... you are frugal and don't like to be extravagant, but it's your wedding for goodness sakes. You gotta go all out.
I have heard of nothing but people having problems selling/ buying a house. I have a coworker that is trying to sell her home but it's in South Lyon so I'm thinking you guys probably aren't interested... just thought I'd let ya know!
    Snow? ick. Sorry.
AAAND if I had $2400 it would be yours because I frickin' LOVE your car. I like my car too... but let's face it- it's not a convertible.
That's all :) I will be seeing you soon!
