Tangles

I have such tangly hair.  It's driving me crazynazy.  I'm half tempted to chop off my hair, but I look pretty bad with short hair.  I think it's our hard water... miss you Marquette water xoxoxo.  You should see my brush when I'm done with the mangled wet mess. Anyways, I need some advice.  Anyone know of an awesome detangler product whether its spray, shampoo or conditioner????....  Right now I'm using some childrens detangling spray, apple scent to boot ;\

Maybe getting my hair razored??

I went to Meijer today and bought a comb and a new hairbrush.  I should probably use the comb instead of the brush, I always break that rule about not brushing your hair when it's wet.

Seriously people, I need some advice.

  1. Kels,
a female friend of mine mentions henna, which she said Eastern Indians use as a conditioner and de-tangler. She also cautions it would give your hair a reddish-tinge and may take a little tweaking to get the effect just right.
My friend also stresses that before considering henna as a natural alternative to conditioners, to check this site out: http://www.hennaforhair.com/

From a guy's standpoint, I'm thinking about hitting the concern at the root source.
What's the condition of the water softener? Is it processing softener salt appropriately? Does it need to run more often? Or replaced? How about the water filter? A 20 micron filter may help if not already in place.

That's all I can offer at this time. I sincerely hope everyone else who reads your blog can jump on board and help the lady out!
