Girl with a terrible memory & jumbled thoughts

50 things about this wknd and things I've learned/ random crap I think of:

1. I had the time of my life in dah UP this weekend with my hubs.

2. We went to Soaring Eagle, and I won $235 playing black jack and Mike won $229 playing roulette, freaking awesome.

3. God has quite the sense of humor.  He makes things happen when the odds are near impossible.

4. I am a pansy.  F'real, when am I going to not avoid people??

5. You can't get a quarter sized Abe Lincoln tat on your foot and have it still look good.  It has to be the size of a tennis ball.

6. I didn't get an Abe tat.

7. I watched a goat ram it's head on a wall repeatedly, no wonder it had a broken horn. It was pretty hilarious.

8. I slept in the bed of a truck for 3 nights, and even peed in a parking lot.

9. I'm incredibly selfish.

10. Indian men with pat you on the back, really hard. =/

11.  It's awkward when your black jack keeps calling you attractive.  Thanks man?

12. I got my contacts in the mail today, yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhh =D  (Side note: they probably didn't come today since it's the holiday wknd, we just got home and checked the mail durrr.)

13. I wish I could be inappropriate online sometimes (right now), but its unprofessional.

14. Don't freak out if you disagree, but I always get a little sad when on someone's FaceBook underneath their religion it says "none."

15. I'm excited to have kids, depending on the day.

16.  I start beauty school in 2 weeks.

17. My mom is a FaceBook creep and I find that awesome.

18. I'm a jerk and will visit a town with family in it and not tell them I am there, to avoid excessive visits.

19. Our Tempurpedic bed feels amazing after not sleeping on it for 5 days.  I have to Google how to spell Tempurpedic, everytime.

20. All yesterday, Mike and I went for a boat ride on a motor fishing boat, fished in a paddle boat, saw fresh water jelly fish (who knew they existed?), fresh water coral (again, about them existing), saw a bever dam, caught zero fish, made fun of my lack of rowing skills, went to the beach and skipped rocks, ate Lays Stax, played on a playground like kids, tried to keep eachother awake whilest driving home, slept in a motel parking lot.

21. I'm really blessed.

22. I bought a new light fixture for our dining room (at Menards) it's pretty awesome, looks like 4 fat candles burning.  Just know that I've been wanting to buy a light fixture for a while now, and I bought it with some of that gambling ca$h money.

23. I wonder if my kids will have blonde hair or brown...

24. I thought about getting my eyebrow pierced this wknd... trashy?

25. Found out I can't have a facial piercing anyways for beauty school.  Good thing I no longer have my nose pierced eh.

26. Applebees sucks. I never want to eat there again.

27. I would like to get a Snuggie for this winter.

28. Speaking of stuff I want, a semi-nice-professional camera, one of those that makes that click noise when you take a picture.

29.  I also want to learn to juggle.

30. Our water softener is broken, and it has made me avoid doing laudry.

31. We went to a craft show in Saint Ignace and bought this awesome little guy: 

 

32. Always stay when the dealer has a 16.

33. I can't tell the future or anything, but as of now we are talking about selling our house in a year and a half and moving up north.  Time will tell.

34. Timing is an amazing thing, life events are unknowingly affected by the choices of what you do with your time.  It blows my mind.

35. Look at this sweet hairstyle.

36. We went to an auction a couple weekends ago.  I loved it I totally want to go to more.  I bought a bunch of house stuff including this shelf (pictured) and this zebra chair (also pictured) the before picture in the upper left hand corner is of the chair before it's intense cleaning, believe me, it was gross, but I saw its potential. 

 

 

37. I was browsing my laptop a few weeks back and found a blog that I wrote before I had blogger. Just a way to clear my head.  It's funny because at the end of it I said "I plan to write one everday"; yeah I didn't.  It was on August 22nd 2009.  So I decided on August 22nd 2010, to write about how my life was going now.  And there is my new tradition, every year, on August 22nd I am going to write a document on Word of my life.

38. I have an awesome mom.  I spent the night with her last week for an evening.  She is great and it amazes me how much a relationship progresses when you are no longer a kid.

39.  My mom got a new car btw.  For the last 8 years or so she has been driving a beat up 1990 Oldsmobile.  She finally has a car born in this decade, a Ford Escape.  It is so weird, great and I am really happy for her =)

40.  We're almost done with our wedding thank you's.  Whewwwwy.

41. I'm almost done with this list of 50 things!

42.  I'm finding that I'm a pretty good cook.  When it comes to cooking various chicken breast dishes.

43.  Beverly Snyr is an amazing elderly woman.  I can relate to her crazy being.

44. I am really really weird, I think Mike see's that side the most. 

45. If you have a bathtub, don't take it for granted.  I miss having one!

46. Speaking of which, bathtubs are expensive, (whilest at Menards) they are like 2 grand.

47. I can't believe I am talking about the price of bathtubs =O Snoooozeberries.

48. My great grandma owned an adult video store, before she passed.  Random stuff huh.

49. Oh yeah, we are getting our kitten most likely next week! [And holy cow, in that blog I said in 2 months and that was 2 months ago from yesterday]

50. Mike's watching Harry Potter right now. I hate movies.
